Interdisciplinary Approach for the Study of SDH


This 20-hour classroom-based workshop focuses on the principles of interdisciplinary research for the study of SDH. The participants will learn the concepts of multi-, inter-, and trans- disciplinary research and will be able to make practical use of them in the conduction of research projects under a SDH approach.

Mixed Methods for the Study of SDH


This 20-hour classroom-based workshop aims at learning the principles of mixed methods in scientific research and its practical use within the SDH framework. The participants will learn about triangulation principles, and its methodological usefulness in SDH research.

SDH Research Communication: Disseminating SDH-related Research Findings to Different Audiences


This 4 hour workshops aims to enhance the researchers personal skills and capacities to better communicate their SDH research findings and evidence as relevant input into policy making.

This workshop was developed by IESE with the input from SDH-Net consortium institutions as part of the Work Package 5 of SDH-Net project

Research Communication Fundamentals for SDH


The objective of this 20-hour course is to strengthen essentials research communication skills to enable SDH researchers to disseminate research findings to different stakeholders, aimed to place SDH high on the strategic political agenda and improve program effectiveness and health outcomes.

Research Management for Projects on Health and its Social Determinants


The objective of this 20-hour is to enhance research management capacity applicable to SDH related research projects by providing an overview of research management methodologies and tools focused on project management, collaborative research management and research costing thereby improving overall SDH-related research project efficiency and effectiveness.

Managing Fund for Research Project on Health and its Social Determinants


This 12 hour workshop aims to enhance the researchers understanding of research fund management.
